The Creative Journey

• Frosting & Fizz Station: A tactile start with scented foam and handmade confetti to build fine motor skills.

• The Big Make: Every child creates their own Party Monster—a hand-stuffed fabric friend brought to life with felt, googly eyes, and quirky charms.

• Collaborative Installations: We finish by working together to "frost" a Giant Cardboard Cake and contribute to our Sticky Mural adhesive wonderland.

Welcome to the most creative shopfront in town! We are turning the studio into a handmade bakery for a day of rolling, sculpting, and building. This session blends traditional ceramic techniques with high-energy party play.

The Creative Journey

• Sensory Start: Mix a custom batch of "Birthday Cake" scented playdough and tackle the Wacky Party Hat engineering challenge.

• The Main Event: A Clay Donut & Treat Workshop. Using professional air-dry clay, children learn hand-building skills—coiling, pinching, and smoothing—to create realistic lollies.

• The Bakery Box: Finish by "glazing" creations with vibrant paint and decorating a custom box to carry the treats home.

The Grand Finale

The studio transforms as we work together on two massive collaborative installations:

• Giant Cardboard Party Cake: Layering thick paint "frosting."

• Sticky Party Mural: Mapping out a landscape of balloons and confetti on our adhesive wall.

Bring the festival spirit to the studio! Designed for older makers who want to design their own "merch," this workshop dives into the world of textile art. We move beyond the basics to explore intricate binding, beadwork, and collaborative installation.

The Creative Journey

• The Merch Station: Design and create Custom Fabric Patches and Beaded Pendant Necklaces. Using glass beads, wood, and embroidery, these functional pieces of art are ready to wear straight away.

• The Main Event: A High-Vibe Tie-Dye Workshop. Using professional dyes and shibori-inspired binding, students transform a Tote Bag or Wall Hanging into a masterpiece of colour and pattern.

• Textile Skills: Learn how different folds and resists create unique "explosions" of design on fabric.

The Grand Finale: The Never-Ending Chain

We wrap up by contributing to a massive, Experimental Paper Chain. Using painted scraps, braided yarn, and cardboard rings, we’ll attempt to link the entire studio from corner to corner—a high-energy visual of our collective "party spirit."

Is there magic hiding in your backyard? Step into a world of sensory wonder designed for our youngest makers. This workshop uses natural materials and "secret ingredients" to bring imaginary worlds to life through process-led play.

The Creative Journey

• Fairy Potion Lab: Little alchemists mix bubbling "dragon scales," flower petals, and fizzing elixirs to build fine motor skills and sensory awareness.

• Sticky Wands: Forage for the perfect "wild" stick and transform it into a magic tool using colourful yarns and enchanted tapes.

• Magic Mud Wings: Decorate large-scale wearable cardboard wings using "magic mud" (textured paint and sand), feathers, pressed leaves, and biodegradable star dust.

Collaborative Magic

We finish our journey by painting a Giant Magic Forest Floor Mural. Working together, children use sponges and brushes to create a lush, shared landscape in a low-stakes, high-fun environment.

Do you have what it takes to be a master of the elements? Move beyond the wand to explore the ancient art of alchemy. This session is designed for curious minds who love to experiment with hidden messages, foraged treasures, and tactile materials.

The Creative Journey

• Invisible Ink & Elixirs: Master the art of secret spells. Young wizards draft hidden messages and reveal them through watercolour washes to create a custom Enchanted Spell Book.

• Relic Dragon Eggs: The heart of the session. Using professional air-dry clay and hand-building techniques, children sculpt large-scale eggs, texturing them with "dragon-skin" tools and embedding them with "moonstones" and crystals.

Collaborative Magic

• The Dragon’s Hoard: A massive Loose-Parts Mandala built on the studio floor. Using river stones, glass pebbles, and dried wattle, kids contribute to a shimmering collective masterpiece.

• The Specimen Library: Help curate our Library of Ingredients by sorting foraged "Crunchy Spells" (leaves) and "Star Dust" into apothecary jars for our final gallery walk.

Step into the laboratory of the modern Alchemist. Designed for older creators (ages 8–12), this workshop bridges the gap between science and magic. We dive deep into complex textures and "hidden" art forms through large-scale sculpture and chemical exploration.

The Creative Journey

• The Alchemist’s Lab: Makers brew a "Galaxy in a Jar" using pigment suspension techniques and design Power Mark Stickers—custom metallic symbols representing the hidden strengths of their mythical creations.

• Mythical Totems: The main event. Using wire armatures and recycled materials, students engineer a 3D "power animal" or ancient relic. These are brought to life with traditional paper-mâché and finished with mixed-media textures, from iridescent foils to foraged organic elements.

Collaborative Magic: The Master-Maker’s Web

Throughout the session, we transform the studio with The Master-Maker’s Web—a giant, 3D network of shimmering twine. As tasks are completed, creators tie in translucent "Power Marks," building a glowing, suspended map that connects every artist in the room.
