  • Process‑based art focuses on the experience of making rather than the final product. Children explore materials, experiment, and follow their own ideas. The creative journey matters more than the outcome.

  • Each workshop has a suggested age range, but these are a guide only. Every child develops differently, so please get in touch if you’d like help choosing the most developmentally or socially appropriate option for your child

  • For Clay Together (ages 3–6) and Little Art Explorers a parent or caregiver must stay and participate. For all other workshops, children attend independently unless otherwise stated.
    Parents are expected to attend and supervise children’s events and parties.

  • Yes! If you’re unsure whether a workshop is the right fit, you’re welcome to book a single trial session before committing to the full term (subject to availability).

  • Clothes that can get messy and/or an art smock. Creativity can be enthusiastic!

  • Yes. All clay, tools, art materials and firing costs (where applicable) are included in the workshop fee.

  • Clay pieces are dried, bisque‑fired, glazed and glaze‑fired. This process can take 3–4 weeks, depending on weather and kiln schedule. You’ll be notified when your child’s work is ready for collection.

  • Yes! I offer children’s creative parties and adult clay or art events on weekends and during holiday periods. These can be tailored to your group’s interests and needs, check out our booking page for all available options.

  • If there is space in the workshop and the flow of the term allows, absolutely. Just reach out and I can guide you.

  • I am a qualified educator (Masters of Teaching from Melbourne University) with over 8 years experience teaching across a range of ages and educational settings. I also hold a Bachelor of Creative Arts (University of Wollongong). I am practicing ceramic artist with a process‑based, material‑driven studio practice. My workshops blend pedagogical knowledge with hands‑on creative expertise.

  • Yes. My workshops are informed by the NSW Creative Arts Curriculum, particularly the strands of Making, Investigating, Interpreting and Expressing.

  • Cancellations made 7 days or more before the workshop start date will receive a full refund or credit. Cancellations made within 7 days are non‑refundable, as materials and preparation have already been allocated. If your child is unwell, please contact me, I’ll always do my best to offer a makeup session where possible. Alternatively you can gift your spot to a friend or family member free of charge.
